Chalk Face
Sunil Ghelani spent his childhood years in a small town in rural India. He moved to the city of Mumbai and obtained the degree of Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (M.B.,B.S.) from Seth G. S. Medical College. He subsequently obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Chandigarh, India. The zeal for excellence drew him towards sub-specialist training programs in the United States. He is currently a resident doctor in pediatrics at a tertiary hospital in the US.
All through his life Sunil has strived to do something novel and creative. Through his sketches, paintings, the small carved-out chalk pieces, or even his computer presentations and animations he has tried to create a niche for himself. Even though he has not received any formal training in art, he has a natural flair for it and continues to experiment with different art forms in his spare time. He endeavours to devote more time to his hobby once he completes his medical education and perhaps develop it into a more seroius vocation.
