To better your understanding of non-clinical career options and/or facilitate your physician career change, today we introduce you to Manuel Lowenhaupt, MD. Dr. Lowenhaupt is a Partner in Accenture’s Health Provider Practice and North American Clinical Transformation leader.
He is internationally noted for his work in clinical informatics, care management, and performance improvement. Prior to this position, he was the Chairman, President and CEO of Radianse, the leading provider of healthcare real time location solutions. In 19 years of consulting, he has worked with greater than one hundred thirty healthcare organizations in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Far East. Prior to his consulting career, Dr. Lowenhaupt practiced medicine and led a multi-specialty group in Boston for 10 years, co-founded Boston Medical Systems, and worked as an investigator for the NIH. Manuel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from M.I.T. and received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
