An interesting course titled “Publishing Books, Memoirs, and Other Creative Nonfiction” will be given at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts from March 15-17, 2007.The course director is Julie Silver, MD, an award winning physician/writer who has published more than a dozen books including Life After Stroke and After Cancer Treatment: Heal Faster, Better, Stronger. Other physician authors among the faculty include Larry Dossey, MD, Edward Hallowell, MD, Suzanne Koven, MD, Marvin Krims, MD, and Terry Schraeder, MD. Key topics include how to write well, how to get your book or other writing published, and how to ethically and skillyfully promote your book after it is published.
