CBI is holding their 4th Annual Medical Science Liaison Skill Building and Management Summit in Philadelphia in January, 2010.
This annual program provides a unique learning opportunity for both MSL managers and MSLs. This conference remains one of the only events, throughout the industry, where MSL teams have the opportunity to come together to build team strategies as well as to discuss specific challenges each team member encounters on in their day-to-day job functions. The first half of the conference brings together both MSL managers and MSLs to discuss current and future regulatory challenges that impact their jobs and then delves into innovative communication and team strategies for growing and improving MSL teams. On the second day, attendees have the opportunity to break out into tracks to dig deeper into their personal roles on a peer-to-peer level. MSL managers learn how to build and retain successful MSL teams and team members while MSLs learn how to grow field skills and strategies through innovative and effective methods. Over 300 industry attendees have benefited from this unique conference that provides MSL teams with in-depth training and education on a team and individual level.
Key topics being researched for 2010 include:
Developing a community of compliance through documentation and systems of checks and balances
