Dr. John Freedman is a Medical Director at Tufts Health Plan. He provides support to Tufts Health Plan providers.
Dr. Freedman was the Physician Director for Specialty Services and an active primary care physician at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center for five years before joining Tufts Health Plan in 1999. He previously practiced at the University of Louisville, where he received his MBA, and with Kaiser Permanente in Denver, where he was Assistant Medical Director for Quality Improvement in internal medicine. He is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Harvard College, and completed his medicinal internship and residency at Boston University Medical Center.
