In search of a physician career change opportunity or a new non-clinical career? An executive search firm is looking to fill the position of Director CNS in New Jersey.

 

 

The incumbent is responsible for helping design and implement global clinical development plans (CDP’s) for specific CNS compounds, according to identified strategy and timelines.  The scope of this position includes supervision of clinical operations activities and medical supervision of clinical trials, including protocol development, results interpretation, and writing of reports and final documents. Responsibilities include: developing program strategies for assigned compounds, including review and optimization of protocols, identification of new indications for existing products; providing expert input for general strategy in CNS and clinical operations, clinical pharmacology, biostatistics, regulatory affairs and marketing in the pursuit of product registration with compounds in various stages of development; participating in the selection of new compounds for clinical development and IND filing in CNS; analyzing and interpreting data expertly and clearly communicating programs to internal and external customers; providing technical evaluation of licensing and/or partnering opportunities in CNS and doing same of pre-clinical groups. Qualifications include: an M.D (Neurology specialty preferred); at least 2 years of industry experience, including experience across various CNS disorders; previous Regulatory filing(s) experience preferred; a firm understanding and good working knowledge of new technologies; the ability to assess a mechanism of action; and a proven ability to effectively lead an international study team.
