This post wraps up a three part series on networking tips for the holidays.

 

Don’t forget holiday cards.

 

Holiday cards are a very thoughtful, time limited and inexpensive way of staying in contact or reestablishing contact with people. Cards sent for networking purposes should follow a few simple guidelines, Make sure to have a full return address with your name on the envelope. Sign your full name as a signature legibly on the inside of the card to avoid having your name get lost in the shuffle.

 

Whether or not to put a business card in the card depends on the balance of social and business relationship you have with the person. If it is purely a business relationship, then business cards are okay. If you have a social relationship with the person, then a business card might seem a little too pushy.
