In search of a physician career change opportunity or a new non-clinical career? The client of an executive recruitment firm, a dynamic pharmaceutical company located in New Jersey, is in search of the following professional: Assoc Dir & Director Medical Affairs (Oncology).

 

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic research and medical communication/education programs within Company Oncology Medical Affairs.
* In collaboration with Alliance partners and internal stakeholders, develop and implement Medical Affairs-supported clinical trials and Company pipeline.
* Help develop and implement a comprehensive Medical Communication and Education Programs.
* Develop and provide scientific presentations for internal and external customers including advisory boards and investigator meetings.
* Clinical interface with investigators and internal departments, including pre-clinical, regulatory and commercial.
* Maintain knowledge of FDA, ICH and GCP guidelines.

 

Qualifications:
MD, Hematologist/oncologist with clinical development experience in either academia or pharmaceutical industry, preferably board-certified.  Relevant clinical research experience in academic or clinic practice and/or 2-3 years of industry experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Research.  Ability to travel.
