In search of a physician career change opportunity or a new non-clinical career? A pharmaceutical industry executive search firm is looking to fill the non-clinical physician career position of Director of Clinical Operations for Oncology Disease Management.
The physician would be assuming global leadership for one or more Oncology Area programs as required.
He/She would define Oncology/project vision and strategy for achieving that vision, and engaging and motivating their team to buy into their vision and execute their strategy through clear and persuasive communication skills.
He/She would be providing technical insight to ensure progress towards these goals.
This trained Physician would contribute innovative thinking and bringing an external market perspective to task execution within and outside area of direct accountability.
He/She must possess the interpersonal skills for motivating exceptional performance of his/her team. Having an open door policy to project, subliminally, mentorship for his/her team members.
The candidate must have 2-5 year additional related experience including industry experience.
They would prefer a Physician who is not being recognized for his/her contributions. We would prefer a Physician who has a reputation among the “Opinion Makers” in the Oncology discipline.
The initial salary is very competitive and there are executive benefits, too. The schools are excellent and the position is within active cultural areas.
