A wide range of nonclinical career opportunities exist in the area of public health. In some ways, there are so many options that navigating through them may be daunting. We were recently introduced to a resource that seemed like a helpful starting point for such options. Although targeted at degrees, which may or may not be necessary for entry into these fields as a physician, the information is categorized in a user friendly way that is applicable to a transitioning physician.
PublicHealthDegrees.org is a resource dedicated to researching educational opportunities within public health that can further a physician’s education with a master’s or doctoral degree in public health. With over 150 schools and over 2,000 accredited public health degrees in our database, many of which are CEPH accredited, they are a comprehensive resource to utilize when figuring out which public health program is best for you.
