To better your understanding of non-clinical career options and/or facilitate your physician career change, today we introduce you to Rebecca Chloe Winokur, MD. Dr. Winokur is a clinical content editor for Allscripts, an electronic health record company.
Dr. Winokur received her BA from Colby College, her MA from Boston University School of Medicine, and her MD from the University of Vermont School of Medicine. She is an assistant professor at the Department of Family Medicine, Fletcher Allen Health Care. She was formerly a primary care and sports medicine physician at Associates in Orthopedic Surgery. She has been the recipient of both a teacher appreciation award and a teacher of the year award. She was director of “The Children’s Initiative” and continues to work to raise funds and improve the lives of children of Ethiopia.
