HealthGrades is seeking to identify an outstanding physician who is “hands-on”, entrepreneurial, and has an unquestioned passion for healthcare, to join its Clinical Excellence Research & Consulting team (CERC), which leverages HealthGrades’ industry knowledge and expertise to assist hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers in achieving five-star performance and increase their overall quality of care. CERC’s physician-led teams of expert consultants offer consulting services across a variety of clinical areas including: Cardiology, Pulmonary, Vascular, GI, Critical Care, Orthopedics, and Stroke.
The Senior Physician Consultant works closely with client organizations to change behavior and clinical decision making based on outcomes, process performance, and evidence based guidelines. He/she plays a critical role in the project via expert facilitation of and presentation during onsite meetings with physicians, chart review, evidence-based guidelines research, organizational change management and other clinical support. As part of a small but rapidly growing practice, this individual will play an important and significant role within CERC and participate in setting the future strategic direction of the group. CERC is targeting 35% growth over the next 12 months.
The Senior Physician Consultant will be a highly talented MD with strong and successful experiences interacting with and motivating physicians. HealthGrades seeks a high-energy, results oriented individual, possessing a “can-do” attitude. The right candidate will be confident and flexible, possess strong ethics and unwavering integrity, and be passionate about making a difference in healthcare. While not required, prior consulting experience is ideal. Previous quality improvement experience is advantageous.
An MD is required. An advanced degree in business, health administration or related field is highly preferred. An attractive compensation package comprised of base salary, annual performance incentive/commissions, equity, and full benefits.
