Vice President, Respiratory Therapeutics

There is an opening for a Vice President position that would have responsibility for the Clinical Development department, including the Biometrics and Clinical Research groups as well as a Medical Affairs department.
This Physician should be a U.S. licensed M.D. with pulmonary and or infectious disease credentials.

 

The Client prefers at least ten plus years of industry and/or specific respiratory or infectious disease drug development or clinical trial experience and demonstrated expertise in the successful implementation of clinical trials, and the regulatory approval process.

 

Candidates should have submission experience from Investigational New Drug (IND) through Phase II and Phase III Study Reports.  NDA experience is highly desired.

 

The candidate must possess excellent management and mentoring skills and have a team-based leadership philosophy clearly demonstrating capabilities in areas of people management and resource planning. This individual will have a demonstrated track record of successfully leveraging strategic relationships to execute programs.

 

The person filling this position will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and will have critical input in the identification and implementation of Respiratory Therapeutics strategy and direction. While reporting to a Senior Vice President, they will work in concert
and liaise with Senior Management and Business Development in the selection of projects for in-licensing for possible clinical development.  The staff is well over 200 personnel!
