Physician Entrepreneur: Shetal “Nicky” Shah, MD
Dr. Shetal “Nicky” Shah is a practicing Ophthalmologist and Founder and CEO of Eyemetics, a beauty brand that offers clean and functional beauty products. Through her clinical practice and conversations with her patients, she realized that there was a need in eye area beauty products for makeup and cleansers that were gentle yet functional. She set out to solve this problem by using her expertise as an Ophthalmologist and also working with beauty industry experts to develop a unique complex of bioactive ingredients, which she then patented. She then incorporated her technology into her line of products. Dr. Shah is passionate about bringing women beauty products that will both make women feel beautiful and keep them healthy.
