Dr. C. Anthony Jones is Vice President of Marketing for Gentiae, a leader in comprehensive cardiac safety assessment located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Gentiae delivers centralized ECG and imaging core lab services to clients whose clinical trials demand the highest levels of experience and quality clinical interpretation in the analysis of their drug’s cardiac safety and functional risk. Their clinical expertise and analysis coupled with their proactive customer service enable them to deliver an unsurpassed level of efficiency and accuracy in support of their clients’ development goals.
Dr. Jones maintains responsibility for development and primary execution of Gentiae’s market strategy. Additionally, he is responsible for key strategic partnerships and alliances. Dr. Jones brings extensive knowledge and experience in healthcare innovation development and marketing. First with Deloitte Consulting, then as vice president of the Health and Wellness unit at Scient, he has led marketing strategy projects for some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices and services companies. Prior to his consulting career, Dr. Jones was a director at Reuters Health where he managed the creation of “ReutersHealth.com”, the Internet’s leading healthcare news licensing business. Additionally, Dr. Jones was a leader in the development of “Advoy”, one of the only successful global compliance management tools in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Jones is an honors graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Subsequently, he received his degree in medicine from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine followed by a fellowship in medical informatics at Columbia University.
