PRN founder Dr. Michael J. McLaughlin will be a faculty member at next week’s ACP Leadership Development conference.
The Leadership Development Conference will be held at UMDNJ on Thursday, November 19th, from 1:30-7:00 PM for chief resident members of the American College of Physician’ New Jersey Chapter. The conference is part of the ACP’s Leadership Enhancement and Development Certificate Program. Dr. McLaughlin will be speaking on the topic of “Motivating Your Team.” Other faculty members include Ranita Sharma, MD, FACP; Stephen Peskin, MD, FACP; Alex Stagnaro-Green, MD, MHPE, FACP; Lawrence Phillips, MD, FACP; Sangiv Chopra, MD, FACP; and Eileen Moser, MD, FACP. Additional topics to be covered include: What is Leadership?; Leadership Traits; Conflict Resolution; Leadership from a Young Physician’s View; Negotiating Skills; and The Healthcare Scene – A Systems Approach.
