EHR PHYSICIAN ADVISOR DESCRIPTION:
EHR is currently in search of qualified physicians who are interested in the field of medical management to join its rapidly growing team as a Physician Advisor. The Physician Advisor serves as a clinical resource to EHR’s hospital clients by providing expert, second-level reviews for admission status certification. These services are performed electronically and telephonically with hospital clients to address the following issues: medical necessity review, clinical and regulatory compliance, continued stay review, hospital reimbursement, and quality assurance. The Physician Advisor also serves as an expert in regulatory guidelines and utilization management and helps to educate case management and medical staff members on these topics regularly.
