Job Opportunities in Sepsis

An executive search firm has two opportunities that they are currently trying to fill. They require a trained Infectious Disease Physician or possibly a Hematologist/Immunologist for the study of potential Blood clotting during sepsis that causes reduced blood flow that can lead to organ failure or gangrene.

The two positions are Medical Director of Clinical Research Infectious Disease Management and Associate Director for a physician who has somewhat lesser expertise.

A trained ID specialist or Hematologist/ Immunologist physician who has an interest and or academic training in SIRS or HBC and or HCV would be preferred.

This Physician will develop Phases I-III clinical trials and make recommendations for HBV or HCV or SEPSIS management including initiation of a vaccine series for any susceptible, unvaccinated, person who sustains a blood or body fluid exposure or a bacterial infection.

The Physician would clinically study post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) with Hepatitis B Immune Globulin (HBIG) and/or Hepatitis B Vaccine series after evaluation of the hepatitis B surface antigen status of the source and the vaccination and vaccine-response status of the exposed person.

An Academician who has done clinical trails in I.D., Hem/IG, would be of most interest to the Client.

The Physician would also study the opportunistic diseases that follow a HBV or HCV or Sepsis exposure as they relate to liver toxicity and or other major organ failure.

The successful referral would be a candidate that can lead a team and yet take direction and keep his/her group focused and developing reproducible results.  They would prefer a Physician who has made presentations to peer audiences and has contributed to literature.

The usual executive benefits are available as well as relocation, if needed.

If you are interested in either of these opportunities, please send a cover letter and CV by email to info at prnresource.com, and we will pass them along to theexecutive search firm looking to fill these positions.
