Pharma Position in Reproductive Health

A top executive search firm has a pharma client who is interested in meeting with a Physician for an opportunity as Senior medical Director of Reproductive Health.

 

They are seeking an MD with least five years of practical experience in 
direct patient care in the area of Reproductive Health and Metabolic 
Endocrinology.

 

He/She should be American Board certified in Gynecology with a 
subspecialty in reproductive health.

 

They would prefer someone who has significant scientific 
reputation in the international community and has been involved in 
peer reviewed presentations and publications.

 

The ideal referral would have proven leadership capabilities with 
staff responsibility for at least three years and at least seven 
years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably a part of 
this time in a global function.

 

He/She provides medical expert leadership for the clinical 
development and life cycle management for all development projects in 
the therapeutic area of Reproductive Health . This comprises the organization of
medical input into research and development projects, support and
training of Medical Affairs, support of Marketing and Licensing and 
Business Development.

 

He/she will be the in-house expert for Development of after Proof-of-
Concept up-to Phase IV including post-approval commitments

 

He/she will lead and collaborate with a group of dedicated 
endocrinologists, gynecologists and clinical scientists who are 
deployed as team physicians and scientists into the global product 
teams.

 

He/She assumes responsibility for the design of development strategy 
and the clinical development plans and plans and assigns internal and external resources to the teams based on strategic prioritization.

 

He/She works closely with research to assure seamless transition of
development candidates from proof of concept to full development and collaborates with commercial functions to guarantee that clinical development strategy is in line with commercial positioning of drug candidates.

 

He/She would be responsible for continuous training and education of 
her/his direct reports to ensure scientific excellence and 
leadership. He/She is responsible for the organization of advisory 
boards and key opinion leaders for external review and input of 
Continuous Data Protection and study concepts.

 

The ideal candidate should have an international flair and be able to 
relate to ASN international community.
