PRN founder, Dr. Michael McLaughlin, presented the keynote speech at the Maryland Society of Anesthesiologists annual meeting, “Expanding Practice Horizons: Enhancing the Profession,” on Saturday, September 6th, 2008, in Annapolis, Maryland.

The program was unique for a state medical society meeting, and focused on ways for anesthesiologists to reevaluate, reexplore, and enhance their careers.

Dr. McLaughlin’s presentation, “Your Career: A Closer Look,” opened the program and discussed ways for doctors to re-evaluate their careers, shift and/or expand the focus of their work to provide better balance, and if desired, transition out of clinical practice.
